Bloyce was born in Grand River, Prince Edward Island, to the late Peter Alphonsus McLellan and Elizabeth Matilda MacDonald. Bloyce was the youngest of the thirteen children brought up on the McLellan family farm. He attended Arlington School and Miscouche Regional High School. He then received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Prince Edward Island in 1973 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick Ludlow Hall in 1976. He now resides in North Tryon, PEI.

Bloyce truly appreciates the firm’s lawyers and staff. He is the senior partner of McLellan, Brennan Law Firm, a member of Queen’s Counsel, a barrister and solicitor, and a notary public. Bloyce has been, and continues to be, successful in numerous areas of law. This is reflected by his vast trial, appeal, and Supreme Court of Canada experience. His focus includes personal injury, accidents, and malpractice.

Bloyce has served as the President of the Law Society, and he has served on the board of several community, provincial, and national organizations. He is the founding President of the ALS Society of Prince Edward Island, and was a past president of the Summerside Western Capitals. He is also a member of the Atlantic Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA), the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA), and the malpractice section of OTLA. In addition to his work and community involvement, Bloyce is a family-oriented person. He has an abiding love for his family: his wife, Erith (nee Craig), and their three children.
John A. Brennan

John was born in O’Leary, Prince Edward Island to Lester and Shirley Brennan. He graduated from Acadia University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in History). In 2000, he graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with his Bachelor of Laws. John is a barrister and solicitor, notary public, and a partner at McLellan, Brennan Law Firm. John is married to Karen Brennan, and together they reside in Grand River, Prince Edward Island with their two children. He is an active fly-fisher.

John is the past Vice Chair of Community Inclusions, the past Chair of the Government Relations Committee of the Summerside Chamber of Commerce, a past board member in the Summerside Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Rules Committee for the Law Society of Prince Edward Island. He is the current Past President of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyer Association, and is a member of the Insurance Committee of the Law Society of PEI. John’s practice, while including all general areas of law, such as real estate, wills and estates, and company law, focuses on personal injury.

John enjoys his work and tries to bring a positive demeanour to his practice. He believes this is a strong asset to have, as a large portion of his work is for clients who have been either referred to him through other clients or other lawyers. Often times a client’s best interests are protected by a lawyer taking a respectful and well-reasoned approach to their case.
